The 1954 Fender Precision bass still sounds great and Stig plays his bass with a delicate touch. In my opinion, the Van Zalinge upright bass that Stig used in The Police lacks the low, soft and wide sound of a wonderful upright bass. But the classic Fender bass guitar gives a unique and slightly sharper sound scale and covers the vocal parts too much. Great playing from the band! Apparently, this Stig Tour made Josh Freese a more confident and better live drummer. Great! Stig's tour certainly taught a lot! Lots of luck and great times as a Foo Fighter drummer! Congratulations!
